What?? No goats??? When we lived on St. Maarten, I hid a goat in Sucker Garden coming down the hill--jumped right out in front of me. Guess it was ok, it ran off into the bush. Ah, the "good life on St. Maarten"!! Love your blog.
still tons of goats around but those suckers are fast moving, as you probably know. I usually see them when I am in my car and they are jumping out in front of me - so I don't have many goat pictures.
I think perhaps I should make a cows and gendarmes calendar. Gendarmes herding cows? Cows chasing gendarmes? Ah it could be a wonderful set of photos.
I can't really say that I would want to live around roosters, though I'd love to get some pictures of roosters. I was really surprised by how loud they are the first time I heard a rooster in person.
Sissi, I am guessing you do not use your powers of photography to take cow photos. You have seen too many cows. Their charms are all worn off for you. I can just imagine visiting a place full of cows, I'd have 40GB of cow photos and it would all come to an ugly end.
My brother has cows by his house in NJ. I love them too.
I think two separate calendars on cows and gendarmes is in order. Cows are cute, like babies. It seems almost wrong to put them with the gendarmes that I like to ogle.
Right - no cross themed calendar with icky juxtapositions. I actually think I would be far more able to make a cow calendar than I would a gendarmes calendar. Cows don't seem to mind their pictures being taken, I am not sure about what a police reaction would be.
Cows here are pretty nice looking, that is true. I am spoiled.

Your cows are way prettier than mine. And cleaner.
