I Spy...

One evening last week, the dogs were howling at something behind our house, so I went to check it out. Usually it is neighborhood kids playing explorers, or it is a pernicious kite flyer that has been on the dog's most-wanted list for a year or two. This time, I could not see what all the fuss was about. Here was the view:



I was baffled til I looked a bit closer:



It is Psycho Cat! She has been coming by for the last few months on a fairly regular basis. Before that I had not seen her for over a year. She knows that Scratchy has sworn vengeance against her. To avoid him, she watches our yard, waiting until he is inside or distracted, and then makes a run for the back door. This has been fairly successful. The Psycho Cat rewards me for feeding her with her usual melange of hisses, purring and sudden attacks. It is nice to have her around again!
